top mid-size law firms in the United States seeks a BD/ Marketing Coordinator. This position will report to the Director of Business Development and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Draft and assemble pitch materials, presentations and RFP responses.
Write and coordinate a wide range of business development materials, including RFP responses, pitch books, presentations and brochures Ensure matter information is captured for matter database, league tables, directory listings, pitches and awards Prepare and post client alerts, announcements and other updates for distribution by email and to the website. After each campaign, analyze statistics of readership.
Conduct competitive intelligence and marketing research in preparation for client and prospect meetings, pitches/proposals, and other business development initiatives.
Write and edit a wide range of internal and external communications, such as article abstracts for the web site and social media pages, and articles for the internal e-newsletter Post new items and update content on web site.
Play a key role on the continued roll-out and development of firmwide CRM system, including creating and updating contact lists, and working with lawyers on data quality efforts.
Develop timelines and project work plans to ensure efforts stay on track Update practice-specific marketing collateral, biographies and practice descriptions.
Assist with the collection of data and preparation of submissions to legal directories and managing the project timeline.
Coordinate logistics for practice-specific events, speaking engagements, seminars and webinars Coordinate and maintain professional photos of lawyers.
Provide general assistance to the Director of Business Development and Marketing as needed Specific.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in law firm marketing/business development.
Bachelor’s degree Excellent written and verbal communication and proofreading skills Proficient in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience with client relationship management (CRM) software in a professional service firm.
Detail oriented and proactive Ability to handle a variety of projects and assignments in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of HTML/ Adobe Photoshop and InDesign a plus.
