A top law firm is seeking a conflicts analyst.
The Conflicts Analyst conducts searches and generates reports to be used to identify potential conflicts of interest for matters involving new and/or existing clients. Assists with all other functions of the department, including conducting conflicts checks for new hires; preparing screening memos and creating ethical walls; reviewing and processing new matter intake forms and investment inquiries.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and prior law firm experience. Conflicts,
Accounting, Research, or Records experience strongly preferred.
Must have excellent verbal and written skills; ability to effectively communicate with attorneys, senior professional staff, and peers in various support functions.
Ability to act with a high degree of integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Must be proactive in identifying and effectively resolving varied process, technical, functional, and resource-related issues.
Must have strong technical and analytical skills; proven ability to multitask and work under pressure with interruptions and tight deadlines without compromising attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; ability to learn new applications, information resources, and research methodology.
Must be flexible in work schedule to provide after-hour coverage as needed.
Knowledge of Intapp suite of compliance products, Legal Key, and various research tools including Lexis, Acuity, Capital IQ, and D&B recommended.
