A top law firm is seeking a talented, self-motivated HR Generalist who will be responsible for a variety of Human Resources functions including employee relations, compliance policy and procedures, supporting payroll/leave administration, and running HR-related reporting. The ideal candidate must have effective organization, planning, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
•Employee relations and staff management: Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching and support to management and staff regarding employee relations issues and performance management
•Compliance, policies and procedures and interpretation of employment laws: Maintain and update employee handbook
•Metrics/reporting: Run ADP reports on hiring metrics, compensation, & employee relations, conduct ongoing data analysis to identify opportunities for HR process improvements
•Employee engagement: draft and communicate company-wide communication, plan & execute company training/events, administer and facilitate semi-annual and annual performance evaluations for all employees
•Special projects: Participate in HR events, special projects and performs all other duties as assigned
•HR administration: answer employee and manager questions about HR programs, polices, benefits and other HR related items, ensure that employee files are up to date and compliant, oversee update of org chart and floor plans
