A leading multiservice law firm has an opening in their Advanced Media & Technology practice for a paralegal to support a wide variety of projects.This junior to midlevel position will support the legal team of partners, associates and paralegals on a wide range of projects in the marketing, advertising, and technology space, including promotions law and compliance matters. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Successful candidates will have excellent analytical, drafting, writing and communication skills, accurate and strong attention to detail, high level of organization, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple projects:
 Review of advertising creative copy and materials;
 Preparation and review of promotion rules and terms;
 Assisting with digital media-related client projects;
 Registration of cause-related marketing nonprofit state filings;
 Research of social media legal requirements and guidelines;
 Creating and maintaining organized files;
 Drafting, proofreading and editing client correspondences;
 Other support roles as dictated by attorneys and senior paralegals.

Requirements:
 2-5 years of experience working in an advertising or promotions law practice, preferably at a large or mid-size law firm, working on a wide variety of advertising, media and promotions matters.
The ideal candidate will be:
 Highly organized, have the ability to build positive rapport and relationships with clients; possess excellent proofing and communication (oral and written) skills; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced
nvironment; a very strong attention to detail; and a professional demeanor.
 Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely and build relationships with lawyers, clients and staff to achieve results. Requires a high level of collaboration with attorneys and staff and the
ability to exercise independent judgment.
 Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, web research, and a working knowledge of iManage or other filing databases and web technology would be beneficial.
 Bachelor’s degree is required.
 Paralegal certificate a plus.
