A top firm is seeking a Temp Attorney Recruiter.
Under general supervision, the Legal Recruiting Assistant will be responsible for diverse administrative and secretarial duties, as well as handling special projects as needed.
The Assistant must have strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities:
•Resumes: receives resumes of students, clerks and laterals and inputs into firm database; types appropriate schedule sheets; and sends out signed letters and maintains resume/letter files.
•Interviews: schedules in-office interviews; types interview schedule sheets; distributes schedule sheets, resumes and evaluation forms to interviewing attorneys; and follows up with attorneys who have interviewed but not returned evaluation forms.
•Fall On-Campus Recruitment: prepares packets for schools which include firm resumes, NALP forms, and payment check; prepares notebooks for attorneys containing resumes, evaluation sheets, grade information and general school information; types form letters to applicants inviting them for call-back interviews, no call-back interview letters or offer letters; and arranges reimbursement of expenses incurred by interviewees and coordinates sharing of expenses with other law firms.
•Summer Associate Program: prepares summer associates for their arrival, including assistance in locating housing; assist with planning of social events; prepares charts and lists and maintains files of offers, acceptances, starting dates, departure dates, schools, years, and grades; assists with preparing for orientation (which includes updating manual); assists with planning of in-house seminars (booking conference rooms, ordering food, taking attendance); assists with all summer associate events; updates and maintains summer budget; and distributes evaluation forms and follows up on forms not returned promptly.
•Attorney Orientation: maintains and updates orientation material files and prepares orientation packets for attorneys; updates new associate manuals; and checks on office, telephone and secretarial set-ups before attorney arrival.
•Attorney Training: maintains training material files, updates as needed; and coordinates training sessions which includes working with seminar speakers, scheduling conference rooms and necessary equipment, ordering food, typing and distributing memos to attorneys and maintaining count of those attending.
