Accounting Specialist – Trust

Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Review, verify and record daily trust accounting transactions (i. e. Real Estate closing documents, settlement/escrow agreements, etc.)

* Prepare daily bank account reconciliations

* Accounts payable; recording trust cash disbursements

* Accounts receivable; recording trust deposits.

* General accounting duties as assigned

* Maintain accuracy while working on multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment

* Strong organizational skills and deadline driven

* Strong written and oral communication skills

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

* Minimum three years of accounting experience; professional services experience a plus

* Law firm experience a plus. Knowledgeable with the processing of trust transactions specifically Real Estate transactions under Florida Bar Rules.
