Job Description:

Responsibilities:


  • Interview and engage potential clients based on established criteria, advise potential clients on class action approach and serving as class representatives, and work in tandem with associates and other Firm attorneys to complete the initial consultation and client-intake process.
  • Work with Firm leadership to seek and contact new clients and advance the Firm’s business development objectives.
  • Regularly track and report on progress and maintain client and potential client information in firm databases.
  • Proactively assume other duties as necessary.

Education and Experience:

JD required. You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a plaintiff-side law firm (employment, civil rights, personal injury, or similar) in an attorney intake and case evaluation capacity or as a practicing attorney interfacing with clients and potential clients. You have strong sales skills and the ability to exercise initiative, good judgment, and discretion. You have a demonstrated understanding of attorney advertising and solicitation rules.

Clear Communication and Attention to Detail: You have strong organizational, verbal, written, and in-person communication skills, enabling you to successfully interact with potential clients by both telephone and email. You possess the ability to show empathy and patience with a genuine desire to help people. You express yourself clearly and concisely, always highlighting the most important information. You proactively communicate the status of your work and share updates with colleagues when necessary. You demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure that your work is mistake free.

Confidentiality: You must be able to adhere to Firm policies regarding the protection of confidential data and demonstrate sensitivity to (and good judgment in connection with) confidential Firm matters.
