Job Description:

Core duties include heavy calendar management; scheduling; an emphasis on assisting with and tracking client and business development activities, billing and collections; and the need to be very organized and proactively manage the partner’s day.


RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

•    Take proactive and full ownership of administrative functions.

•    Manage calendar and all scheduling logistics (set up meetings, conference calls, travel, speaking engagements).

•    Support business development efforts.

•    Communicate effectively and establish positive relationships with clients.  

•    Provide billing and collection support.  

•    Foster team collaboration.

•    Maintain technology skills and provide document support.

•    Notarize documents.

•    Perform other duties as they arise.  

      

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

·    Five+ years working for a senior partner, practice head or C-suite executive.  

·    Superior verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

·    Highly proficient technical skills – Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

·    Positive attitude/strong work ethic.

·    Problem solver with the ability to respond calmly and efficiently under pressure.

·    Flawless interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment – friendly, flexible, punctual.

·    Exceptional organizational skills and discretion in handling confidential material.

·    Ability to exhibit excellent judgment, dedication and discretion.

·    Ability to anticipate needs, think steps ahead, identify conflicts and provide solutions.  

·    Must be able to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

·    Ability to set priorities and adjust as necessary to accommodate demanding schedules with critical deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

·    Bachelor’s degree preferred.

·    Law firm experience or experience working as an EA in a professional services firm.

·    Knowledge of M/S Suite, calendaring, document management system and CRM.

·    Detail oriented with strong day-to-day organizational skills.
