Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Senior Manager of Talent to support office-wide talent initiatives in recruiting, attorney professional development and human resources, including but not limited to:
Attorney and Summer Associate Recruiting
• Coordinate all aspects of the summer associate program, including orientations,
trainings, staffing assignments, evaluations, social events, and program logistics.
• Support the law student recruiting process, including coordinating on-campus
interviews (OCIs), scheduling screening interviews and in-person and virtual
callbacks, preparing interview materials, maintaining recruiting databases and
candidate trackers, and communicating with law schools and student organizations
regarding events and sponsorships.
• Compile recruiting metrics for Hiring Committee and track progress against hiring goals.
• Assist with lateral attorney recruiting by coordinating candidate interviews, preparing evaluation materials, tracking candidates in the recruiting database, and preparing offer letters and status communications.
Professional Development
• Coordinate attorney onboarding and offboarding, including offer documentation,conflicts checks, orientation and training scheduling, Workday entries, and arrival logistics in coordination with the Office Manager.
• Assist with the semi-annual attorney evaluation process, including preparing evaluation materials, coordinating review meetings, and tracking completion of advisee meetings and evaluations.
Human Resources
• Support professional staff recruiting by posting job openings, coordinating interviews, assisting with candidate screening, preparing offer letters, and coordinating background and reference checks.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding for professional staff and maintain related Workday records.
• Process employment verifications and respond to routine HR inquiries.
• Serve as a resource to attorneys, professional staff, and summer associates to help foster a positive and supportive work environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in legal recruiting, preferably within a large law firm.
• Must possess the ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment and maturity in handling sensitive confidential salary and personal information.
• Must possess impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be extremely organized and possess excellent time management skills, especially.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at a time, as well as meet tight deadlines effectively under pressure.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees throughout the firm from partners to facilities employees.
• Must have strong professional demeanor and interpersonal skills; be comfortable interacting with attorneys and leadership; approaches colleagues and candidates with a client-service framework.
• Must possess a strong ability to anticipate needs, follow-through, take initiative, and act independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, more specifically Excel.
