Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the daily HR-related matters that arise (e.g., answering employee questions regarding HR policies, PTO balances, and the like); coordinate employee leaves of absence (e.g., disability, FMLA, parental) and the return-to-work re-integration process; and manage the Firm’s onboarding and offboarding processes.
Manage and maintain the Firm’s HRIS system (Bamboo), including ensuring accuracy of employment data and the Firm’s directory, building and managing system email alerts, managing employee PTO plans and generating new user profiles and settings, and generating reports and related communications, including bi-weekly payroll-support email (to confirm address changes, PTO exceptions, exit information, and the like).
Assist the Director of People in ensuring that the Firm’s Employee Handbook is up to date and comprehensive and in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements and best practices.
Deliver HR Orientation and HRIS-system training to new hires and other employees as needed, including timesheet-approval training to supervisors, and maintain HR sections of the Intranet.
Stay abreast of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and
applicable HR best practices.
In conjunction with the HR Assistant, coordinate, review, track, and document compliance (e.g., with anti-harassment training and employee handbook acknowledgements); perform periodic audits (e.g., of I-9 documentation); and file HR documents as needed.
Proactively assume other duties as necessary.

The successful candidate will have a combination of employment, educational, and life
experience that demonstrates the qualities and skills below:
Education and Experience: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, ideally in a professional-services firm, including hands-on experience with an HRIS system (and experience with Bamboo a plus). SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential and advanced proficiency with Excel preferred. You have a proven track record of developing and leading initiatives and process improvements in a highly collaborative environment.
