Job Description:

Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations


* Discovery and Case Management. Organized and maintained case files, both physical and electronic, in accordance with firm protocols. Manage all phases of the discovery process, including requests and responses. Coordinate and manage document review teams, utilizing online review platforms. Have a deep understanding of best practices for data collection as well as compliance issues related to governance and confidentiality.

Fundamental knowledge of complex litigation terminology, procedures, and best practices.

* Research. Have expertise in building queries and using online databases and review platforms, along with experience in utilizing a range of sector-specific resources to conduct research.

* Prepare for depositions, trials, hearings, and mediations. Assist in deposition and trial preparation, including the preparation of exhibits, witness binders, and demonstratives. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local rules of procedure and court practices, especially related to electronic filing. Maintain case calendars and tracked deadlines to ensure timely compliance with docketing procedures. Blue-book, cite-check and Shepardize briefs. Draft tables of authorities.

Job Requirements:

Minimum requirements


* Have demonstrated ability with respect to the above Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations.

* Experience in International Arbitration is preferred.

* Excellent computer skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Relativity and/or DISCO as well as LiveNote.

Certification in Relativity highly recommended.

* Superior organizational and project management skills.

* Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

* Ability to work overtime as required.

* Available for occasional travel.

* Able to lift 35-pounds overhead.

* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year accredited college or university and at least two years related litigation experience.

Ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience

* High proficiency (or stronger) in Spanish a plus.

A background in trials and/or hearings, along with a deep understanding of electronic filing, is necessary. Be experienced in complex litigation, especially, discovery, document management, and research.
