Job Description:

In this capacity, the Administrative Manager will:


* Manage team(s) and resources responsible for all support functions in designated California offices; Manage team performance and set goals, ensure the team's continuous professional development;

* Resident in our Los Angeles office;

* Administer the Firm's initiatives and operations at the local level, such as office implementations, projects, programs and events;

* Advise and administer budget control and maintenance for areas of responsibility;

* Plan office events (onsite and offsite), managing events budgets, and facilitate community outreach programs;

* Partner with internal parties and external resources;

* Manage administrative operations and services for assigned offices, including client support services, office services, and facilities. Administer the Firm's initiatives and operations as assigned, including but not limited to office process implementation projects, programs, events, new hire orientations and employee departures;

* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments across offices;

* Conduct new hire orientations, coordinate training, and facilitate on-boarding of both attorneys and business professionals;

* Manage administration-related vendor relationships for areas of responsibility;

* Work collaboratively with Firmwide Departments to implement and support tools and programs for areas of responsibility;

* Interfacing with Firmwide Departments to facilitate compliance with local rules and regulations and peer practices;

* Work beyond scheduled hours as required; and

* Handle additional related projects as necessary.



Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred) or equivalent professional work experience;

* At least 5 years of management experience (preferred);

* At least 7 years of work process and procedure experience (preferred); and

* At least 7 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment (required).


Proficiencies:

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;

* Advanced proficiency in planning, allocating and reconciling an operations budget;

* Advanced knowledge of office administration and services procedures and practices, preferably in a legal environment;

* Advanced knowledge of records management, preferably in a legal environment;

* Advanced knowledge of facilities procedures and practices;

* Fundamental knowledge of reception procedures and practices; and

* Advanced knowledge of legal office terminology and procedures.
