Job Description:

In this role all responsibilities will require duties to be performed in Mandarin Chinese and English language, including:


• Provide Executive Assistant support to US-China practice group and practice group leader.

• Provide legal administrative support to practice group and practice group leader.

• Communicate and interface with clients, service providers, and employees within the Firm.

• Draft letters, memos, process documents and expense reports and e-mail correspondence.

• Extensive work with file openings, bills and collection.

• Maintain attorney calendar, event registration, time entries and CLE records.

• Informal translation services.

• Answer telephones and proactively follow up when necessary.

• Manage travel arrangements and accommodations.

• Assist with drafting and revising PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials.

• File paper and electronic documents and information promptly and accurately.

• Coordinate on behalf of assigned attorneys with other departments and offices to execute different assignments and projects.

• Perform some legal secretarial duties and/or provide back up support to the secretary team.

• Assist with special projects and events.

• May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above.


Job Requirements:

What we’re looking for:


·At least 2-3 years of Executive Assistant or similar experience supporting senior partners and/or key executives at a large national or global law firm or a large national or global professional service firm (legal assistant experience a plus).

·College or graduate degree.

·Ability to speak, read and write in Mandarin Chinese and English languages proficiently.

·Excellent communication skills.

  • Task ownership mentality.

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

·Strong attention to details, proofreading and organizational skills.

·Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.

·Flexibility regarding hours (overtime may be requested).

·Typing of at least 50 wpm.
