Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of a professional services organization are required.
· Strong organizational skill are also required, including tracking deadlines and the ability to organize workload effectively and operate within tight timeframes.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, iTimekeep, iManage and business applications.
· Strong decision-making skills are required. Demonstrated ability to practice good judgment required. Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision required.
· Ability to work collaboratively, building consensus across multiple practices, departments and offices.
· Strong systems analysis and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality control are required.
· Must be a team player and willing to share information with others. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
· Ability to communicate well with clients and others outside of the firm.
Job Requirements:
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or higher. BS or BA Preferred.
· Draft, revise, format and finalize a wide variety of legal documents.
· Establish and maintain paper and electronic client and administrative files in compliance with current Firm policies.
· Work closely with Accounting Department to prepare client billings and receivables to meet client billing format and reporting requirements.
· Answer, screen and place phone calls to clients and other business associates and respond to client inquiries.
· Provide assistance to other Legal Secretaries within Firm whenever necessary to meet Firm and client needs
· Preparation of wills, trusts and other estate planning documents
· Preparation of tax forms required by the tax group.
· Possess strong computer skills: MS Office Suite, iManage, Nuance, ChangePro and iTimekeep.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Professional presentation and demeanor.
· Possess enthusiasm, high energy and highly competent.
