Job Description:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of litigation paralegals (including supervisors and leads), ensuring high performance, engagement, and effective workload distribution.
- Partner with attorneys across litigation practices to optimize paralegal utilization and deliver exceptional client service.
- Oversee performance management processes, including reviews, feedback, compensation recommendations, and employee development.
- Address performance issues with professionalism and fairness, collaborating closely with Human Resources on coaching and resolution.
- Drive recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of paralegals, helping build a strong and scalable talent pipeline.
- Develop and implement training programs, standard operating procedures, and best practices to support litigation workflows.
- Establish and maintain service standards, ensuring quality, accuracy, responsiveness, and adherence to court and client requirements.
- Monitor utilization, productivity, and key metrics; identify trends and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Oversee administrative operations, including timekeeping, attendance, resource allocation, and compliance with firm policies.
- Champion innovation and technology adoption, including litigation tools and AI-enabled solutions, to improve workflows, reduce risk, and drive operational excellence.
