Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Key contributor in annual budget process.
Analysis of expense accounts and comparison to budget for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including interaction with operational departments in understanding and reporting on variances to budget.
Help create proper procedures to maintain internal controls surrounding cash receipts, cash disbursements, and financial reporting.
Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Maintain general ledger in a manner to prepare timely monthly financials as well as schedules for annual audit.
Prepare monthly KPI’s to interpret and evaluate the business and key business drivers.
Proactively assume other duties as necessary.

The successful candidate will have a combination of employment, educational, and life experience that demonstrates the qualities and skills below:
Education and Experience: You have an accounting degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with one or more midsize companies and with a background in audit work. Advanced Excel skills, including ability to work with Pivot Tables and create simple macros, required.
Leadership: You have a proven track record of developing and leading initiatives and process improvements in a collaborative environment.
Confidentiality: You must be able to adhere to Firm policies regarding the protection of confidential data and demonstrate sensitivity to (and good judgment in connection with) confidential attorney, personnel, and Firm matters.
