Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


· Support litigation and appeals before federal and state courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC).

· Coordinate efforts of lawyers and staff to ensure work is performed on time and with efficiency, including monitoring dockets and ensuring resources are in place to meet case needs.

· Inform lawyers about costs and effectiveness of logistical decisions and choice of vendors.

· Coordinate document collection, tracking, review, and production in conjunction with clients, attorneys, litigation support and vendors.

· Assist with preparing for depositions and witness interviews by organizing factual materials for attorney review and coordinating logistics, location, equipment, technology, and court reporters.

· Communicate with NY Managing Attorneys Office on filings and submissions to ensure MAO timely receives scheduling information.

· Plan and organize logistical arrangements for trials and hearings.

· Foster collaboration, clear communication, and a solutions-oriented approach.


Job Requirements:

Requirements:


· Minimum of seven (7) years of IP litigation experience in a law firm, including acting as the lead paralegal on trial teams.

· Expertise with federal, state, PTAB, and ITC filing requirements and ECF systems.

· Extensive experience with ediscovery tools and techniques, including creative and adaptable approaches to data collection, reduction, review, and production.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

· Availability to work the hours necessary in order to provide outstanding client service, to travel when needed, and to work from the office and from home. The firm requests minimum of three days a week in the office.
