Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
This role will oversee three key areas:
* Data Architecture: Management and design of the core master data directory (MDD) SQL database and all ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for the firm.
* SQL Database Administration and Design: Manage and monitor enterprise SQL server estate including HA clusters, performance monitoring, and upgrades.
* Application Installation, Upgrades, and Operational Management: Accountable for the installation, upgrade, and integration of business applications and information systems across the enterprise.

* Will effectively mentor and resource plan with a team of accomplished Application and Data Architecture Engineers.
* Believes in ``you build it, you own it'' data and application model, that good architecture includes good testing, resiliency, monitoring, documentation, and collaboration.
* Has depth and breadth of knowledge across multiple software and data engineering disciplines.
* Is passionate about technology, data, and architecture discipline. Always looking forward to what's ahead.
* Firmly believes in leading by example and influences others to maintain low technical debt and effectively manages the product and data lifecycle of platforms under responsibility through rigorous project sprints and maintenance windows.
* Will work directly with technology executive leadership, firm management, and solutions delivery teams on highly visible technology projects to achieve our strategic Firm initiatives.
* Provide technical leadership on multiple application/software implementation efforts through the full life-cycle.
* Define critical data models for each system and ensure that the data models align to the firm's enterprise data strategy.
* Design, document, and evangelize architecture standards and policies which enable business agility through the sharing of data sets and enterprise infrastructure.
