Job Description:


  • Guide employees, managers and other HR staff on usage of the Workday system
  • Serve as point of contact for Workday adoption and change management
  • Assist with the initiation of all HRIS related records for newly hired employees; work closely with finance, payroll and benefits to ensure updates to employee information are communicated
  • Support new employees through the onboarding process by tracking all New/Re Hire documentation
  • Review and approve various employee self-service data changes
  • Address questions regarding employee records, personal information, HR supported events and programs and escalate to appropriate personnel when required
  • Assist in the testing of new and existing releases of Workday and HR systems and  provide support during update process as required
  • Work with the Workday Support Group in order to maintain accurate and updated documentation and data in HR systems (i.e. HRIS, FileSite and SharePoint)
  • Assist Chief HR Officer and Director of HR Technology and Analytics with special projects
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Job Requirements:

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Strong oral, written and verbal communication skills; excellent follow up skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Operates independently and receives assignments in terms of overall goals and objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to use tact and discretion and maintain utmost confidentiality of personnel information
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service at all times; exercise courtesy and diplomacy with Firm personnel and representatives outside of the Firm
  • Highly dependable and demonstrated consistent, effective administrative and clerical performance for the accomplishment of responsibilities and defined objectives.
  • Strong administrative and data management skills

Required Experience

  • 1 year previous administrative experience required along with previous relevant experience working in HR
  • Prior experience with an HRIS system required

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience with Workday, balanceTRACK and ADP preferred
  • Prior experience with talent management and applicant tracking system preferred
  • Prior law firm experience preferred
  • 2 years of experience within a corporate HR environment preferred
