Our client is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work directly with our Director of Marketing to implement various practice and industry programs, as well as ad hoc requests. The role will expose the individual to the full suite of marketing activities, including (but not limited to):
•Business development – Assembling standard pitch materials and coordinating responses to formal proposal requests.
•Internal communications – Drafting articles for the firm’s internal newsletter.
•Events – Assisting with planning and production of private label client, industry, charitable and internal events.
•E-communications – Drafting and producing practice-specific client outreach opportunities.
•Website, social media – Writing original news clips and replicating across social media platforms. Coordinating edits attorney bios, practice descriptions and correlating deal lists.
•Directories, surveys – Assisting with data assembly, ballots and other aspects of directory and survey participation.
•Memberships, sponsorships – Coordinating registrations and related marketing activities such as logos and ad placements.
•Public relations – Assisting with press releases drafting and coordination of various media opportunities.
•Administration – Processing payment requests.
•Integration into specific practice and industry marketing, as appropriate.
Specific Requirements, Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Two to five years of general marketing experience in a law firm, advertising / design agency or other in-house corporate environment.
• College level education.
• Internet and technology savvy with some experience with website content management systems and email marketing.
• Strong writing skills with an eye for proofreading and grammar.
• Extremely organized and accurate, can work independently or collaboratively. Salary is competitive for a mid-size law firm in the New York metro area, and will be commensurate with experience.
