One of the world’s leading international law firms firm is seeking an Immigration Paralegal reporting to the Regional Paralegal Manager.
This position will reside in our San Francisco office and will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service in the preparation of a broad range of business immigration matters.
This will be a project running up to June 1st.

• Under close supervision, prepare and file nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications for permanent residency and secondary benefits for foreign nationals • Organize and prepare petition packets for review and filing. • Communicate with employees and human resources professionals to gather needed information and documents required for the preparation of petitions and applications. • Prepare and file global business visas and work permits with supervision. • Enter and maintain data in immigration case management system. • Organize and maintain immigration files. • Maintain hard copy files and documents as required to support all immigration activity on behalf of clients. • Work directly with attorneys and other team members to manage caseload from intake through processing and filing. • Ensure that clients are kept apprised of the progress of their cases. • Assist in responding to immigration inquiries in a timely manner.

​Qualified candidates must possess: • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university • A minimum of 1 year of experience in business immigration • An interest in pursuing business immigration as a career. • Good case management aptitude and analytical skills, • Good independent judgment, • A working knowledge of the application of legal processes applied in immigration law, • Demonstrated organizational and technical skills, • The ability to function as part of a team. • The ability to work well under pressure and prioritize and balance competing demands
