An elite New York financial firm seeks a Receptionist.

Essential Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned
• Answer calls and direct the caller to the appropriate employee
• Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them to the assigned conference room, quickly and enthusiastically, and promptly informing the appropriate employee of the visitor’s arrival
• Manage firm’s Seamless account, including researching and creating options for the daily firm lunch selection, managing lunch deliveries as they arrive, and handling incorrect or missing orders
• Order breakfast and lunch as requested for meetings and manages deliveries as they arrive: clean up after the meetings are over
• Make coffee every morning and replenishes throughout the day; offers coffee, water, or other refreshments to visitors who are waiting to meet with employees
• Inform the office manager when water bottles and kitchen supplies need to be replenished
• Maintain security by following procedures and controlling visitor access
• Maintain a clean reception area, keeping marketing material stocked and maintaining a professional office atmosphere
• Maintain conference rooms: chairs pushed in, tables clean and air conditioning/heating set at a comfortable temperature
• Manage conference room assignments
• Assist Office Manager with incoming and outgoing mail
• As needed, assist in preparing and processing bulk mailing projects and firm projects
• Performs other tasks and duties, as requested or required

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced reception/office area
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
