A top financial firm is seeking an RFP Manager who will support all sales channels by completing RFPs, DDQs, and RFIs. They will also provide significant support to the Compliance Group by completing 15C questionnaires for sub-advised business, manage the RFP Associate, and collaborate with all departments.

Writing RFPs
• Manages the RFP process from beginning to end, including sending the final documents and attachments/forms out in soft and hard copy
– Organizes kick-off meetings with sales people and to ensure we meet qualifications, to address questions, and to delegate work, as needed.
– Crafts and customizes answers to RFP questions
– Writes executive summaries as appropriate
– Requests data and input from subject matter experts and summarizes
– Takes RFPs through the approval process (legal/compliance/accounting/sales /President)
– Completes or oversees approximately 160 RFPs annually
– Produces standard DDQs quarterly
Maintaining RFP Content Library
• Organizes content for ease of use by team
• Uploads content (or delegates)

Managing RFP Associate
• Assigns work to RFP Associate and tracks progress
• Reviews/edits RFP Associate’s work
• Provides performance feedback (formal and informal)
• Populates shared network folders with useful information the whole team can access
• Uses databases and other resources to find quantitative support and illustrative examples to support product differentiation and product positioning


Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 8 to 10 years of experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience writing RFPs, preferably for an asset management firm or financial services firm

• Asset management industry
• Clear and effective business writing, ability to follow and edit according to a style guide
• Persuasive writing – ability to support arguments with data and examples
• RFP structure, including executive summaries
• Third-party RFP software
• Professional service industry operations
• Financial terminology

Skills and Abilities:
• Advanced/Power user of Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Demonstrated excellent time management skills, with ability to handle high work volume with strict deadlines
• Detail oriented

• Ability to collaborate, communicate, and work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently, consulting with managers and other subject matter experts as needed
