The Senior Global Awards & Rankings Specialist leads processes and coordinates content development for rankings, surveys, and directory submissions in the U.S. and Asia. This individual collaborates strategically with the Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Leadership Team, and Partners to ensure meticulous execution of all projects and work, with data and content consistently accurate and well presented. This role attains synergies for all marketing programs through effective collaboration and ensures client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of the position. Lead key aspects of the Firm’s process for responding to directory, rankings, awards and select survey requests.Responsible for research, writing content, or coordinating content and maintaining consistent Firm image and voice throughout responses. Includes direct contact with Partners, marketing specialists and others responsible for providing strategic direction and content for submissions. Coordinate all aspects of production and distribution of responses. Review content, use independent judgment to populate database fields with descriptions of relevant topics and appropriate language regarding standard topics, such as practice descriptions, diversity and technology. Ensure qualitative submissions supported by transactions, cases, and other hard data. Under the guidance and direction of the CMO and Director of Public Relations, develop and implement solutions and processes to optimize response quality and timing. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant researchers, editors, reporters. Develop and maintain information on efficacy of submissions; maintain statistics regarding participation and rankings achievements. Coordinate formatting for content; prepare specialized survey or ranking template documents for application. Perform ongoing maintenance of survey and ranking content to ensure most current versions; ensure data and editorial changes are reflected in and consistently made throughout relevant submissions and relevant marketing collateral. Educate partners and appropriate marketing staff on submission process. Develop and maintain coordinated system for managing client references for submissions. Maintain submissions year over year and provide comparative analysis of rankings statistics. Work with CMO, Director of Public Relations, partners, marketing specialists, and others on strategic submissions based on this data. Responsible for communication of results to leadership, partners, and Marketing staff as well as internal and external website.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Advanced degree a plus.
-4 years of relevant experience in professional services marketing; law firm experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of legal rankings, surveys and directories, with direct work experience a plus.
-Strong knowledge of core marketing principles including driving innovative tools and programs, competitive intelligence, market research, and pitch and RFP responses.
