An asset management firm is seeking Marketing & Communications Assistant for the Ny office.

The Marketing and Communications Assistant is responsible for helping the Director, Marketing and Communications with various marketing and communications functions.
Essential Tasks
Responsibilities range across a wide array of activities; other duties may be assigned
• Assist in updating, maintaining, and otherwise administering the external website
• Manage quarterly calendar of marketing materials, including updating calendar, emailing reminders, confirming completed tasks, and posting materials to internet
• Assist in production of quarterly marketing materials
• Produce quarterly portfolio manager webcasts
• Manage and track marketing material requests, keeping quarterly records and best practices
• Maintain company intranet, including updating a shared knowledge portal and repository of marketing materials and processes
• Manage publication of social media content on a regular basis for all applicable platforms
• Assist with other sales requests and marketing materials
• Assist with requests from outside public relations firm
• Take communications and marketing content through review and approval process
• Coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision while ensuring they meet required quality standards and deadlines
• Build strong, positive relationships with other departments, employees, and external vendors
• Ensure materials align with business goals and adhere to corporate brand standards, style guides, and legal and compliance guidelines

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience; Communications and/or Finance background a plus
• Excellent written communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Follow through on both short-term tasks and long-term projects with minimal supervision
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Background and/or a strong interest in finance and the equity markets
• Team player – adept at working with others toward common goals
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
• Adept at taking both initiative and direction when appropriate
• Takes ownership – goes above and beyond without having to be asked or prompted
• Works well under pressure and deadlines
• Strong Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of website CMS, Google Analytics and Final Cut a plus
