Job Description:

In this capacity, the Coordinator, Competitive Intelligence will:


* Assist in performing in-depth market and competitive research on key companies, individuals, and industry sectors to support strategic growth initiatives;

* Prepare reports and summaries based on research into a partner ready deliverable;

* Actively track industry movements and emerging trends across multiple sectors to surface new business opportunities and strategic leads;

* Research and prepare biographical information on potential clients;

* Leverage advanced research platforms-such as Lexis, Capital IQ, Lex Machina, MergerMarket, and other third party databases-to deliver accurate, data-driven insights; and

* Collaborate cross-functionally with business development and marketing, attorneys, research services and other key stakeholders to support practice initiatives and strategic projects.



Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required (emphasis in research, law or business preferred); and

* At least 2 years' experience of research or business development experience in a professional services or law firm (preferred).


Proficiencies:


* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate Excel capabilities including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization tools;

* Highly analytical with strong critical-thinking skills; adept at transforming complex data sets into clear, actionable insights;

* Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders;

* Team-oriented professional with a client-focused mindset, consistently demonstrating professionalism and a collaborative spirit;

* Inquisitive, with a talent for connecting dots and synthesizing diverse information into cohesive narratives;

* Organized, with a proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in fast-paced environments; and

* Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
