Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and arranging domestic travel.
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents related to discovery and trial preparation, including briefs, pleadings, exhibits, tables of contents, and tables of authorities
- Coordinate schedules and logistics for Partners and Associates, including court appearances and client meetings.
- Draft and send approved communications on behalf of attorneys; manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Organize and maintain case files, legal records, and document management systems.
- Process and manage expense reports via Concur.
- Enter time for principals.
- Provide gatekeeping support for sensitive documents and communications.
- Exercise independent judgment and demonstrate strong problem-solving, proofreading, and prioritization skills.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail for assigned attorneys.
- Perform general office support and administrative tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with legal software systems a plus.
• Working knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court filing systems.
