Our Client, A prestigious boutique law firm is seeking a Finance Paralegal.
This position will support the legal team with responsibilities including, but not
limited to:
Creating and distribute closing binders
Organizing legal documents post-closing
Creating and maintaining Finance files, including notices, conducting lien searches,
preparing UCC filings, etc.
Drafting, proofreading and editing closing documents, client correspondences and cover
letters
Other administrative tasks as dictated by attorneys and senior paralegal
Skills needed to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years working as a paralegal in a
transactional practice, experience working in Finance and or Real Estate Finance is a
plus.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent proofing and
communication (oral and written) skills; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced
environment; a very strong attention to detail; and a professional demeanor.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely and build relationships with
lawyers, clients and staff to achieve results. Requires a high level of collaboration with
attorneys and staff and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using the
internet is a must. Working knowledge of iManage or other filing databases and web
technology would be beneficial.
