Job Description:


Client Relationship Management (CRM) Database Administration Serve as lead data steward responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency in CRM data and performing daily quality control procedures including:

Review and maintain data change management requests

Identify and manage duplicate contacts

Research and resolve discrepancies

Research and process returned mail changes

Maintain key client records

Import contact information and activities List Management and Reporting

Manage creation and updating of mailing lists for distribution of marketing collateral, firm announcements, invitations, etc.; In addition to periodic marketing mailings and emails, the firm sends its’ annual Supreme Court Business Briefing to more than 16,000 representatives worldwide each year.

Research email bounce backs and update contact information as needed

Develop and maintain client and prospect lists in the CRM

Perform database queries to support attorneys’ marketing and business development efforts

Produce CRM customized reports on a standard and as-needed basis CRM Support

Act as a CRM reference for end users

Develop best practices and suggest ways to enhance the CRM database on a proactive basis to support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts Social Media and Firm Website Serve as the firm’s administrator of website and social media platforms, continually seeking to improve processes.

Manage the firm’s social media presence including LinkedIn calendar, content creation, and distribution

Expand the firm’s limited presence on Facebook and Twitter

Assist with creation of content that reflects the firm’s brand and maximizes engagement with targeted audiences

Monitor and update content on the firm’s website, including attorney bios, to ensure accuracy and relevance Attorney Biographies

Maintain attorney biographies and update as needed for the firm’s website and pitch materials Pitch/Proposal Tracking 3

Oversee tracking and reporting of business development efforts / opportunities; maintain log of pitches and proposals, outcomes and follow-up activities; follow up on attorney initiatives to keep priorities moving forward

Assist with pitch preparation including pitch materials and presentations

Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency Additional Responsibilities

Assist with compilation of submissions for various legal rankings and directories

Assist with external events, including webinars, coordination including compiling mailing lists, creating and distributing invitations, maintaining RSVP lists, creating name tags and coordinating follow-up communications

Support other business development and marketing initiatives as requested

Job Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field

2 to 3 years of business development and/or marketing experience in a law firm or professional services firm environment

Experience with digital marketing, particularly B2B

Experience with a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and related data administration tasks is required

Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity

Social media and website maintenance experience

Highly professional approach at all times

Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely

Confident and comfortable interacting professionally with both internal and external constituencies on all levels

Proven ability to manage a diverse range of projects, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines; ability to manage problems and situations that are constantly changing while using considerable judgment and analysis to identify effective solutions

Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential material with integrity

Extreme attention to detail and accuracy, including exceptional proof-reading skills

Superior organizational skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (preferred)

Proficiency with various research databases including, but not limited to Lexis, Westlaw, Lex Machina
