Job Description:

Responsibilities:

* Handle day-to-day requests for business development materials, including drafting and customizing pitch materials, coordinating attorney input, and distributing final versions.


* Assist with the firm's RFP process, including scoping and planning calls with attorneys; drafting, reviewing and finalizing response documents; and, coordinating and supporting information/experience gathering with attorneys, pricing team and other administrative groups as necessary to complete projects.


* Assist in competitive intelligence gathering, including performing searches using the firm's experience database, ContactNet, S&P Global and other tools, in support of new business opportunities, client meetings, pitches, proposals, events and other business development initiatives.


* Support the periodic client and firm data requests, which may include general firm surveys, diversity data requests, and ESG surveys.


* Track win/loss statistics for pitches, proposals and other RFPs.


* Provide support to legal credentialing team by handling ad hoc submissions (Legal500, Chambers, Best Lawyers, etc.).


* Work collaboratively with others on the marketing team to create customized marketing materials for events and contribute to other marketing department projects as needed.



Job Requirements:

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's Degree plus minimum of three years' experience. Direct prior involvement in crafting a wide variety of client pitches and proposals is a must. Direct experience supporting and/or leading RFP responses is a plus.


* Ability to work independently and to collaborate with both lawyers and marketing and business development team members.


* Enthusiastic self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.


* Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.


* Balance of strong client-service orientation and persuasive executive presence required.


* Strong technical skills (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and web platforms).
