Job Description:

With this context, the role holder will be responsible for working collaboratively as part of the Global Business Development team for the TMT sector to:

  • Understand the specific challenges and opportunities for the sector, support the Manager and the broader team to develop and execute a focused marketing and business development strategy – the aims being to strengthen relationships with key internal stakeholders, to target new work and to build the global reputation of the firm
  • Support the creation of compelling credentials, capability statements, proposals, and pitches to respond to fast turn-around bids, strategic panels, or other opportunities to win work for the sector
  • Leverage marketing technology and tools to spot opportunities to develop existing clients and services, track key relationships, and measure the success of initiatives
  • Help to develop sector content, campaigns to increase engagement with key clients and enhance the personal brands of leading attorneys and the firm’s global reputation
  • Support on events and relevant initiatives to enhance the profile of our sector’s offer and strengthen our relationships with key stakeholders
  • Support on the sector’s directories submissions
  • Help manage the internal structure of the sector, including but not limited to the SharePoint site, capability statements, credentials, and teams’ folders
  • Support on development of the sector’s data including liaising with the CRM team and Executive Assistants to improve and develop processes to increase data sharing
  • Build trusted relationships with MBD colleagues to achieve a ‘one team’ global mindset
  • Be part of an agile and responsive bespoke service model based on mutual respect and appreciation of skillsets across the team
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in the firm’s approach to business development, including proactive sharing of knowledge and data to centralized tools

Job Requirements:

Key requirements (skills/experience)

  • college degree; with 2-4 years of working in a professional business environment
  • Strong communication skills,  with attention to detail in writing
  • Ability to work independently on own initiative, but also with strong teamworking skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work in a  fast-paced  environment, prioritize  actions  and meet  strict, often quickly evolving  deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite software
  • Existing knowledge of the Tech sector is not a pre-requisite, but an interest in it is important
