Job Description:


Position Summary

The Conflicts Analyst is responsible for the timely preparation, review, and analysis of conflict of

interest searches and related risk management reviews across the Firm. This role supports new

business intake, lateral attorney onboarding, transactional securities trading reviews, NDA

processing, and regulatory compliance screenings (including AML and OFAC checks), as well as

other duties as assigned. The role also encompasses hands-on involvement in the Firm's securities

trading protocol, working in close coordination with the Director of Operations and the Chief

Operating Officer to ensure the protocol operates smoothly and evolves to meet the Firm's needs.


Primary Job Functions

* Respond promptly to all conflicts inquiries upon receipt

* Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding conflict check results, request any missing

information, and verify requirements with the requesting attorney or practice assistant

* Update conflicts database records as needed and perform corporate research using internal

and external resources to ensure data accuracy

* Obtain the necessary guidance from attorneys and/or Conflicts Committee to properly

evaluate each conflicts check (e.g., lateral candidates, potential clients, potential adverse

parties, etc.)

* Save and maintain waivers in the database when required

* Research corporate entities subject to conflicts review using electronic databases, online

f resources, and print materials

* Review, analyze and respond to attorney feedback regarding potential or actual conflicts

* Assign new client/matter numbers

* Protect and maintain any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or

proprietary information that Kleinberg Kaplan retains

* Serve as the primary day-to-day resource for administering the Firm's securities trading

protocol, and coordinate with the Director of Operations and the COO to review and refine

related procedures as needed standard type office environment.



Job Requirements:


Specific Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required

* Demonstrated ability to perceive and analyze complex legal and business relationships and

identify potential conflicts and risk issues

* Working knowledge of law firm conflicts processes, lateral clearance procedures, AML

requirements, and OFAC screening requirements preferred

* Strong professional interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to

effectively communicate with attorneys, management, support staff, and external contacts

* Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize

competing demands, and handle multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously

* Proficient with relevant software and systems, including Intapp, Excel, Word, iManage,

Elite 3E, etc.


Education and Experience

* Bachelor's Degree Required

* A minimum of two years of experience in a Legal environment

* A minimum of two years of experience with Intapp software preferred
