SUMMARY: The client service associate will assist in the operation of institutional and high net worth client servicing. This position covers a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to new account on-boarding, distribution of statements and invoices, maintaining distribution lists, and communicating with clients. This individual will work closely with a variety of the firm’s internal departments as it relates to performing the relationship management function.
ESSENTIAL TASKS include the following; other duties may be assigned.
• Support team members with daily client activities.(Contribution and redemption requests, performance questions, and invoice inquiries)
• Assist with distribution of monthly and quarterly client statements and invoices for SMA and co-mingled accounts to institutional clients, custodians, and consultants
• Process various account related forms and account maintenance paperwork
• Maintain accurate client and custodian distribution and contact lists
• Prepare client correspondence and obtain necessary management approvals
• Perform a daily review of cash reports for SMA and Sub-advised accounts
• Assist with new account on-boarding for institutional and UHNW accounts
• Monitor various custodial portals for account notifications and alerts
• Manage and update calendar of client service team deliverables
• Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings
• Utilize the group’s various applications to obtain account information and execute service requests
• Document client requests, projects and pipeline to increase the team’s efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance preferred
• FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 preferred. Expected to obtain licenses within 6 months of start date
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge:
• General knowledge of the asset management industry required
• Experience with Advent APX and FactSet preferred
