MARKETING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR – New Jersey or New York law office is needed 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Liaise with Business Development Manager to ensure website content reflects current practice highlights and trends. Understanding of web analytics a plus.
2. Maintain experience database and pitch tracker.
3. Assist with the preparation of customized pitches and responses to RFPs.
4. Engage in research on clients, targets and industries. Conduct competitive intelligence.
5. Use analytics to ensure the firm reaches targeted audiences, identify best practices and drive successful email marketing and social media campaigns.
6. Assist in preparing persuasive submissions for a variety of directories and rankings.
7. Ensure the quality of marketing database contacts, prepare marketing campaign data/lists, and track/report campaign results. List segmentation, extraction and manipulation for marketing programs.
8. Oversee data entry and the integrity of the firm’s Contact Relationship Management system. Onboard contacts for new attorneys into CRM system. Capture new client information.
9. Assist with special projects when requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English or related discipline.
2. 3+ years of relevant experience. Law firm/professional services experience preferred.
3. Strong communication and writing skills required. Writing sample will be requested.
4. Familiarity with web analytics tools and SEO.
5. Experience with CRM use in a law firm a plus.
6. Experience working with large data sets in Excel.
7. Experience working with email marketing tools and creating campaigns.
8. Familiarity with SPAM laws a plus.
9. Familiarity with state bar advertising rules a plus.
10. Strong client service attitude and follow-up skills required.
11. Must work well under pressure and be a self-starter, problem-solver, proactive thinker and team player.
12. Must have the ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
13. Attention to detail.
14. Strong work ethic and high degree of professionalism.
